we have to keep a close eye on this summertime flood coming in. it looks like it will pull through the area. if it continues down to the south, we don't really have a great risk at all for any afternoon, evening thunderstorms, but if the front pulls up right along the area here, then we may have a scattered thunderstorm or two on monday and monday afternoon. temperatures 93 to 95. another thing, too, if the front gets farther south, maybe we can cool this off a bit more instead of being 93 to 95. maybe it's 91 to 93, something like that. the front really has a lot to do with our 4th of july forecast, but either way i think it's going to be pretty good. 81 in the city, gaithersburg really cooled and frederick. baltimore is down to 71 and just about everybody in the suburbs down to the 60s. of course, we're slow to cool in the city, which is very typical, but eventually overnight tonight we will get down into the 60s. high pressure is back out to the west of us. real hot weather in the central plains in the upper 90s and 100- degree readings all up
